Moar Chartz Pls

What I find most interesting about the chart below is not the obvious difference in the tax plans of the two US parties, but instead what's so similar: for well over 95% of the public, the real differences in the amount you’ll pay wouldn’t even amount to a week’s groceries.

That said, the Republican plan would clearly destroy the economy. It’s not enough to cut taxes for the super-rich by $6700? Let me repeat that: both plans cut taxes for the super-rich from the current amount they’re paying -- the lowest (in adjusted dollars) since 1966. All this talk about how we’re overtaxing the rich -- or, indeed, anyone at all -- is just blather.
