To quote the immortal line of Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride: “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
I note with interest, for example, that you never hear this term being applied to President Obama from anyone who actually lived under fascism. Hmm. Interesting.
But just for the sake of public education, the very nice people at Tapped have produced an incredibly short, handy guide to what is -- and isn’t -- fascism. I suggest my conservative friends take a look.
