About Last Night

I encourage everyone who might have missed it yesterday to watch the entire, unexpurgated, Obama video message:



In looking at comments on Digg later that evening, I was so struck by one particular one, from someone called PaintGrl:

I want that America Obama talks about so bad. I have waited so long for it.

That's when it hit me. There's an entire generation of people who have grown up and are now adult having never known what America used to be like.
