Three Thoughts About the Rep. Mark Foley Scandal

1. Oh great, another Floridian busted for being a weirdo. Not that that's unusual or anything.

2. The Republican leadership in the House knew about this a year ago and did nothing. Somehow that sounds familiar.

3. Hastert and Bohner -- and anyone else in the leadership who knew about this and did nothing -- should resign. These two men chose to protect a sexual predator rather than children for the purposes of retaining power. They put party loyalty ahead of any sort of decency.
